The very first Chewable Jewels product to hit the market was conceptualized in December of 2003 while a dentist was sitting on the floor playing with her twin nephews when she realized that they were drooling and teething on her jewelry.

Being a senior in dental school, Dr. Bloom was concerned about their developing teeth because they were literally chomping and chewing on her glass beaded bracelet and necklace charm.

She searched for a safe alternative and found that none existed. So she developed the entire Chewable Jewels line to be the perfect combination of safety and fashion!
